Our Charges & Fees
“Our Family Taking Care of Your Family”
As every funeral is individual and unique, costs can vary greatly depending whether the funeral is to be a burial or cremation, the style of coffin used, whether you require a limousine or numerous other factors. Our aim is to offer a service that suits your requirements at a competitive and fair price to suit all budgets.
We are able to meet virtually any requirements you may have, from a simple funeral to a more complex, elaborate service with a team of horses and horse-drawn carriage.
As members of both the NAFD and SAIF we must abide by their ‘Codes of Practice’ of which includes the requirement for us to provide an itemised estimate prior to the funeral to ensure that all costs are fully explained.
Below is a guide to two different types of service that we offer.
The ‘Traditional Funeral’ is our most popular funeral option allowing you complete flexibility with all the funeral arrangements. This option allows for a burial or cremation with the option of a church service prior to a cremation as well.
The ‘Simple Funeral’ is a more cost-effective option with just the basic elements included.
Please note the charges are for our professional services only including a coffin but excluding disbursements (third party costs).
Fees and Disbursements
Disbursements are the essential fees which we pay out on behalf of the family. These include:
• Church, Cemetery or Crematorium Fees
• Doctors’ Fees
• Obituary Notices etc.
• Monumental Masonary
These fees will be itemised on our funeral account.
For the purposes of providing written estimates, we approximate the cost of any disbursements. However, since we have no control over these specific charges, they may be subject to slight variations.
